Here at FreshCut Paper, we believe our arrangements should give more than they take from the planet. Since FreshCut Paper’s inception in 2020, we’ve been committed to reforestation. So far, we’ve funded the planting of over 3 million trees!

Fighting Back with Flowers

We are so lucky to live in a world full of beauty and joy. Like our bouquets, we hope to also delight in the wonders of Earth for many years to come. But unfortunately, our planet is at risk. It is vital to take action now so that future generations can enjoy the beauty of the Earth.

With this vision in mind, we have joined forces with eco-friendly organizations that share our passion and are taking bold steps to combat climate change through reforestation and recycling. Our pop-up paper bouquets last and we think the planet should too! Thank you for standing with us as we fight against climate change and protect the Earth we love so dearly, one bouquet at a time.

Growing and Giving Back

Like traditionally cultivated flowers, FreshCut Paper arrangements are comprised of natural resources. But while industrial crops damage the environment, our flowers work with the planet instead of against it. The paper used in all of our arrangements is sustainably grown in forests managed by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and our flowers, cards, and packaging are 100% recyclable.

1% for the Planet

A name recognized globally for its contributions towards saving planet Earth, 1% for the Planet makes being eco-friendly effortless. Non-profit organizations around the world tackle problems in every situation and sector imaginable, but they can’t do it on their own. Our partnership means that 1% of our sales fund non-profit environmental organizations. Donations are directed toward healing environmental sustainability sectors such as climate change, land management, water preservation, and reducing pollution. We are proud to support many diverse global communities working hard to find environmental solutions.

Emergency Food Relief

World Central Kitchen is a non-profit organization founded by the indefatigable Chef Andres that provides warm nourishing meals and clean water for folks around the world whose lives are disrupted. 

Whether it is earthquakes in Haiti, Morocco, Turkey or Afghanistan, wildfires in Hawaii, California, Greece or Spain, storms and floods in Florida, Chile or Pakistan or ware-driven refugee crises in Ukraine, Israel and Gaza, World Central Kitchen is there to give some food and a bit of hope and comfort to those who are suffering.

We began supporting their work after the invasion of Ukraine and the refugee crises that followed.  Their good work, however, is not limited to one place and they take no sides but see food as a universal right and are always first on the scene when there is a need.  Food brings people together and we are proud to support their work.

To date, Freshcut Paper has donated $140,000 to World Central Kitchen and we will continue to support their mission.

We’re thrilled to announce the continuation of our reforestation and global forest conservation efforts in a new partnership with veritree. Through their blockchain technology, veritree can prevent illegal logging and promote responsible forestry practices, while authenticating our own reforestation efforts. So far, this collaboration has planted another 800,000 trees in Kenya, with over 197,00 tonnes of CO2 to be sequestered as of April 2024.

Eden Reforestation Project

The towering problem of deforestation is an urgent issue that Eden Reforestation Projects is fighting head-on. Through 2023, we supported the work of Eden Reforestation Projects in Madagascar: their mangrove estuary connects to an extensive freshwater river system, serving as a habitat for marine life and providing livelihood opportunities for the local community. We’re honored to have been an integral part of the mangrove’s growth with funding for over 2.2 million Mangrove trees.
